Daniel, thanks a lot for visiting my post. I hope you’ll enjoy the dog sledding this winter.
Our first dog sledding trip was in Jasper years ago. It was great fun! The second time out was in British Columbia for four days. It was amazing too!
What we enjoyed the most was that we got to learn how to run our own dog teams, to take care of them, and to really bond with each dog. It was such a great adventure.....

Dog sledding really is a wonderful experience. I tried dog sledding in Sweden for the first time a few weeks ago, and it was an exhilarating experience. We only had time for a day trip unfortunately, which meant there was no time to learn how to handle the sleds ourselves, but we got a taste of the power and the beauty of these wonderful dogs. I was surprised how friendly and companiable the dogs were, although they’re far from pets! I’m planning a week-long trip this winter to really get a feel for things!

I’ve got dog sledding on my list of things to do this year!
Great post, it’s something everyone knows about but hardly ever goes out to try.
